This book is the result of a research that is a contribution to the Christianization debate by addressing the impact on peoples and their culture resulting from the interaction between Christianity and their religious understandings and practices. This work is necessary because there is evidence that Christianity has not deeply transformed the lives of Africans, and other peoples. Christians are reported to still go to the traditional religions and other sources for solutions to their practical life problems.It is hoped that this work will encourage more discussion on how Christianity should engage other religions and ideologies in ways that lead to effective transformation of host cultures to reflect the values of the kingdom of God and His Son Jesus Christ.
